A glittering celebration of automotive heritage and innovation, the St James’s Motoring Spectacle returns to Pall Mall on Saturday 1 November (10 am–3 pm), transforming the heart of St James’s into a vibrant open-air gallery of motoring excellence. Organised by the Royal Automobile Club, this free, family-friendly event brings together over 130 extraordinary vehicles spanning more than a century of engineering – from pioneering pre-1905 veterans to cutting-edge electric hypercars.
Highlights include the St James’s Concours, featuring 75 historic cars that will later embark on the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, and a Formula 1 anniversary showcase marking 75 years of the World Championship, complete with Ferrari and Williams cars and the gold British Grand Prix trophy. Additional themed zones will celebrate icons such as the Lotus Esprit, VW Polo, and the reborn Renault 4 and 5, while displays of vintage bicycles and racing motorcycles pay tribute to two-wheeled innovation.
With educational exhibits, career showcases, and a spirit of celebration throughout, the St James’s Motoring Spectacle offers a rare opportunity to experience the past, present, and future of motoring – all within the distinguished setting of St James’s.
