Until 13 January 2026
A compelling new showcase at The Sladmore Gallery places the spotlight on Austrian sculptor Mario Dilitz, whose work sits at the intersection of classical form and contemporary unease. Among the highlights is Boy with Shark, a striking new bronze that exemplifies Dilitz’s quietly powerful figurative language — at once innocent, unsettling and profoundly modern. Dilitz is renowned for sculptures that explore vulnerability, identity and the human condition, often through youthful figures rendered with extraordinary sensitivity. Boy with Shark, produced in a limited edition, has become one of his most recognisable works and marks an important moment in the artist’s evolving practice.
Looking ahead, 2026 promises to be an exceptional year for Sladmore. The gallery will present solo exhibitions by celebrated contemporary sculptors, including wildlife master Mark Coreth, narrative bronze artist Nicola Lazzari, and the virtuoso creator of intricate found-object sculptures, Edouard Martinet — making Sladmore a must-visit destination on Jermyn Street in the year ahead.
