31 October 2025 – 24 February 2026
Tracing more than a century of artistic innovation, this landmark exhibition shines a light on Indian sculptor Mrinalini Mukherjee (1949–2015) and the constellation of avant-garde artists who shaped Indian Modernism through to the present day.
Mukherjee’s radical woven forms, rooted in craft and nature, are shown alongside works by her parents, Leela and Benode Behari Mukherjee, as well as influential figures including KG Subramanyan, Jagdish Swaminathan, Nilima Sheikh and Gulam Mohammed Sheikh. Expect everything from monumental fibre sculptures to delicate paintings and collages in this rich celebration of South Asian creativity.
