For those who like their oysters with a little more knowledge on the side, Wiltons’ 90-minute Oyster Masterclass offers an entertaining introduction to one of Britain’s great culinary traditions. 

Designed for the curious, the novice and the seasoned oyster aficionado alike, the masterclass explores the myths surrounding oysters, from opening and eating them to their health benefits, while giving guests the chance to sample a selection sourced from around the British Isles.

Held on the second Friday of each month, it is a relaxed and enjoyable way to discover more about one of the finest ingredients of the British coastline — and, of course, to enjoy a few oysters along the way.
